A life without a purpose is like riding a bike without the ability to steer. You can pedal like crazy, but your destination is left up to luck. Yet many people have no clue about what their life’s purpose is. Some don’t even know why they need to think about that. People were asked by a TV crew what their purpose in life was. The two most popular answers were “I don’t know” and “To have fun!” If you were in front of that TV crew right now, what would your answer be? Is it crystal clear in your mind what your reason for living is? Is life so incredibly taxing or mundane that you never have time or don’t want to think about it? How does your purpose drive anything anyway? If you examine a successful and flourishing life, the result will surprise you. The effort to gain a clear purpose and focus for your life will reap rewards that are so significant it may surprise you.
