Are you living in utter fear of the unknown events of tomorrow? If you’re one of the many that wakes up in the middle of the night with an unyielding brain that cannot be turned off, you know exactly what that means. With your wondrous imagination, you are able to give real life to what could be the worst outcome of tomorrow. Then there are those who live with a true regret of the choices that were made and outcomes of the past. Unable to reconcile that the past can’t be altered, the specter of regret grows ever larger. Unfortunately, some people are cursed with both of these “gifts” as they trudge through life. So what can possibly be done to fend off these paralyzing feelings?

Accept Where You Are

You are exactly where you are supposed to be. This moment in time is where you’re to begin the rest of your life’s journey. All of the lessons of the past, both good and bad, have prepared you for success tomorrow, even the mistakes. Some of the lessons were lousy. Remember those experiences so that they aren’t repeated. Without a doubt, with what you’ve experienced and learned, you are more prepared for tomorrow than you can imagine. Rather than feeling anger or remorse about the episodes of the past, look at them as events that happened to pave the way for your future success.
