Want To Get Fit? Follow This Path

Why and How

So many people want to improve their level of fitness. The secret lies not in some Herculean workout, ever challenging yourself to do more, but in a dedicated program that will each day make a miniscule difference. You may believe you want instant results, but even if you get them, the faster they come, the quicker they’ll disappear. If you exercised, lost a quarter pound per day, in a year, you’d be a new person. Things built over time last. Things that are put up in a hurry invite disappointment. I want you to live a flourishing life, one that you’re proud of, and one that will last the test of struggle and time. If you follow a few simple steps, you can slowly accomplish so much. I’ve seen it work, I’ve coached it through, and I believe that if I can personally do it, you can crush it.

Intentionally Proceed

Research is clear. As Dr. Azab of Cal State writes about current research, Marwa Azab Ph. D. in Psychology Today, points out that making implementation intentions has a much higher success rate than do goals. Intending to work out, as your “goal”, will likely produce far more success than a goal of losing 20 pounds, getting washboard abs or fitting into a certain size of clothing.
